773,334. Bottle &c. capsules. KORK-NSEAL, Ltd. Sept. 13, 1955 [June 15, 1954], No. 17546/54. Class 125(3). A capsule to cover a lever type bottle cap 25 is of thin lead-tin alloy coated with tin and has a skirt 11 formed with two aligned openings 12, 13 separated by a band 14 and having lines 16, 17 of reduced thickness running into the openings and transverse lines 20, 21. A plastic band 18 is secured adhesively to the capsule. Raising of lever 27 to open the bottle breaks bands 14, 18. Specification 730,946 is referred to.
