768,318. Compressors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. April 14, 1955 [April 19, 1954], No. 10802/55. Class 8(1) A hermetically sealed compressor comprising a motor-compressor unit 3 disposed within a sealed casing 2 has a pair of vertically positioned springs 4 attached to each end of the unit and to the casing for suspending the unit within the casing and coacting means attached to the unit and casing on opposite sides thereof respectively to limit the tilting movement of the unit within the casing and to permit primary movement of the unit in the vertical direction. The coacting means comprise a pair of brackets 7 attached to the casing and a pair of pins 9 attached to the unit, the brackets having openings 8 therein to receive the pins.
