Abstract
765,824. Rubber springs. SOC. APPLICAZIONI GOMMA ANTIVIBRANTI S.A.G.A. SOC. PER AZIONI. March 10, 1955 [March 10, 1954], No. 7110/55. Class 108(3). An elastic suspension unit comprises a first spring system 1 for reacting to vertical loads and comprising telescopically inter-engaging guiding elements 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, and a second spring system 5 acting both as a horizontally-operating resilient anchoring means and a verticallyresponsive auxiliary element. As shown, the spring 1 is of the construction described in Specification 734,549 and is disposed in series with a pair of rubber springs 5. Associated with the latter are metal plates 8 which may have contacting abutment surfaces (not shown) to provide a progressive limiting effect.
