761,179. Disc mills. AKTIEBOLAGET DEFIBRATOR July 9, 1954 [July 15, 1953], No. 20118/54. Class 59 A disc mill comprising a casing 88 enclosing both a stationary grinding disc 24 and a rotatable grinding disc 22 carried by an axially-displaceable shaft 12, has the casing divided in a horizontal plane extending above the shaft 12 so that by removal of an upper part 101, which is detachably connected to the central part 95 of the casing by means of bolts 103, an opening is uncovered to allow insertion and removal of the grinding discs therethrough, the casing being provided with a supply channel 94 for the material to be ground and with an inner upward extension 107 which acts as a support for the grinding disc 24. The central part 95 is secured to the flange 10 by means of bolts 97, Fig. 1, and is provided with a discharge jacket 96. The frame 10 has flanges 168, Fig. 1. The apparatus is otherwise the same as that described in Specification 761.178 which is referred to. Specification 706,384 also is referred to.
