[Also in Group XV] A golf club carrier comprises a plurality of holders 12 each comprising a row of clubreceiving receptacles 22 and hinged at a common end to loop members 29 so that, when spread apart, they can be mounted on a wheeled undercarriage and, when closed up, they can form a portable "golf-bag" having a hood 19 and a shoulder strap 21. The holders may comprise single-piece or two-piece moulded or extruded members, zig-zag plates or, as shown, a plurality of tubes 22 held together by bands 23 which take over the loop members 29. The centre holder has, at its free end, an edge bar 26 having a cut-out 36 and the outer holders have edge bars 25 having slots 37. The central part of an undercarriage bar 32 fits in cut-out 36 and the ends thereof enter slots 37. Bar 32 carries a lower bar 33 having end slots 38. Wheel-carrying bars 40 can be slid into slots 38 and slots 39 in the ends of bar 32, bars 40 being releasably held by the engagement of resilient clips 42 with the ends of bar 33. Panniers 17 having handles can be slung over the assembled trolley and may be used for stowing the undercarriage when disassembled, the wheels being carried on external brackets. The trolley can have a detachable towing handle mounted on the top of the holders. Each club receptacle is provided inside at the bottom with resilient means engaging the grip ends of the clubs. Instead of being freely pivoted together, the holders may be connected by springy flexible members. In a modified undercarriage, the wheel carrying arms can be pivoted to a cross-bar which is pivoted to the free edge of the central holder, and, when stowed lies along the edge of the holder. To erect the carrier, the cross-bar is swung to lie at right angles to the holders, its ends are engaged with the edges of the outerholders and the wheels are turned down.
