Class 132(2) A golf-bag is divided into three compartments 2, 3, 4, compartments 2, 3 being narrow enough to prevent the shafts crossing over and the mouth of the bag is divided into stalls defined by adjustable partitions 17, 18 between which lie the club heads which are thus prevented from knocking together. As shown, the partitions 17, separating the " irons," are mounted centrally on a shaft 15 transversing a metal shell 11 defining the bag, mouth. The larger partitions 18, separating the " woods," are mounted on two eccentric rods 16, 16<SP>1</SP>. In a modification, each partition 18 has a hexagonal, eccentric hole engaging a hexagonal rod. The club heads rest on the rods 15, 16, 16<SP>1</SP>. The partitions are formed of rubber and are displaceable along the rods but are frictionally held in adjusted position. The club shafts may be received in tubes or the loops of corrugated plates contained in the compartments 2, 3. The central compartment 4 may hold articles such as a disassembled wheeled trolley and may have an entry in the side of the bag closed by a sliding clasp fastener. A hood may be provided. According to the Provisional Specification, the bag opening may be spanned by a plate having two rows of club-receiving apertures separated by up- .standing partitions the whole being faced with soft material or moulded from rubber as an integral unit.
