Abstract

755,908. Fertilizer distributers. BJORKELL, H. J., and SILTALA, K. I. Oct. 22, 1954, No. 30479/54. Class 6 (1). A fertilizer-spreading device comprises a hopper 1 which is attachable to a tractor by means of links 2, 3 and 4. One side wall of the opening 6 at the bottom of the hopper is held rigid by means of a tube 5, whilst the other side can be vibrated by means of a shaft 9 carrying an eccentric load 10, through the medium of the bearing 8 and the U-piece 7. The shaft 9 is driven from the power transmission of the tractor and the links 2, 3 and 4 are so arranged that the height of the hopper above the ground can be adjusted.
