Abstract

761,217. Agricultural implements. SUMMACH, E. H. Dec. 13. 1954, No. 36069/54. Class 6(1). A rotary harrow comprises a spiral spring 10 mounted transversely in a frame 7 so as to roll about its axis as the frame is towed over the ground. The spring is journalled in bearings 12 in the ends of the rectangular frame which includes a towbar 8 and a superstructure which may be loaded with weights. The spring element is of non-circular section so as to present a sharp edge 10a to the ground. A seed-sower (not shown) may be towed behind the harrow.
