Abstract
752,125. X-ray apparatus. AGFA AKT.- GES. FUR PHOTOFABRIKATION. March 16, 1954 [March 16, 1953], No. 7661/54. Class 88 (1). In a process for producing radiographs, a multi-layer material is exposed to X-rays through an object to be reproduced, said multilayer material comprising two or more photosensitive layers the colour gradations of which are not coincident, and producing in each layer an image of a different colour. The colours are chosen to blend well, and may be blue and yellow or yellow and magenta, but black and white are excluded. Where two colours are used in the image, the base or a third layer may be uniformly dyed a third colour. The images may be produced by any subtractive colour process, e.g. azo dyestuff coupling, or silver dye bleaching or mordanting. Preferably they are produced by colour forming development, the silver images being left unbleached. Speci. fication 26857/46, as open to public inspection, is referred to.
