751,768. Trestles. GERKE, W. Jan. 21, 1954 [Jan. 23, 1953], No. 1781/54. Class 52(3). Trestle standards 1 have an offset 3 at the head with a cross-bar 4 serving as an abutment for the plank &c. 5 which can rest on a lower cross member 2 preferably formed with recesses to provide abutments 11, 12 for a spar or plank on edge. The legs are preferably tubular and may have telescopic foot sections with pin and hole adjustment. Auxiliary sockets 18 may be provided for transverse spars coupling parallel pairs of trestles to fence an enclosure.
