[Also in Group XVII] A platform for supporting bags, sacks or containers whilst they are being filled comprises horizontal support members 1 preferably in the form of closed tubes secured to a plate 3 which is connected to the load side of the scale which delivers material to the sack. The tubes may be horizontally adjustable relative to the plate, and the plate may be vertically adjustable relative to the scale. The tubes may be rotatable relative to the plate and may be connected thereto by means of a strong spring so that the bags &c. are tipped away from their support when filled.
