Abstract

750,123. Electrolytic etching apparatus S.D. SYNDICATE, Ltd.. Jan. 22, 1963 [Oct. 24, 1951], No. 24872/51. Class 41. A metal plate 3 is mounted for electrolytic etching on an endsupport 1 and is clamped in position by a member 2 hinged to the support 1 and provided with a biasing weight 5; the member 2 is provided with an L-shaped strip 6 of silver or copper for making electric connection to the plate 3. The hinge may comprise a flexible strip 4 of insulating material fixed to the support 1 and detachably secured by a wing-nut 7 to the member 2. In a modification the strip 4 passes through the nip of the hinge and is secured to the opposite side of the support 1.
