Abstract

A ceramic material is prepared by firing at 1250 DEG -1425 DEG C. in an inert atmosphere a compacted powder mixture in gram molecular proportions of barium oxide 2; titania 2: and magnesia 0.1 to 1.5. Referred composition corresponds to 2BaTiO3M90. Substances giving the oxides may be used instead of the oxides. Fluxes, between 1 and 5 per cent, may also be present, e.g. antimony oxide, calcium magnesium silicate, lithium carbonate and lead borate.
