A sprayer for cleaning the interior of a container 13 comprises a head 11 with notches 20, 15 providing baffling surfaces 18, 19 against which liquid jets emitted from bores 14a, 14 impinge. The bores are fed with liquid through a tube 12, and fan-shaped jets are produced which overlap at their edges.
