Abstract
Welding electrodes or filler rods are made of a copper base alloy containing 5-30 per cent nickel and 0,1 to 1,0 per cent titanium and/or aluminium. Approximate compositions of suitable alloys are:- 70 per cent Cu, 30 per cent Ni, 0,4 per cent Ti or 0,5 per cent Al. 80 per cent Cu, 20 per cent Ni, 0,5 per cent Al. 93,8 per cent Cu, 5 per cent Ni, 1,2 per cent Fe, 0,26 per cent Al or 0,46 per cent Ti.
