745,039. Floating structures. WALKER, D. W. R. Sept. 16, 1953 [Nov. 8, 1952], No. 10005/55. Divided out of 744,985. Class 113. [Also in Group XXI] In a method of constructing a floating structure comprising forming a buoyant supporting body 11 and, while such body is floating in water, fastening one end of a sheet of buoyant waterproof material to the upper surface of the body above the water, the sheet is passed down over one edge of the body beneath the body, and up over the edge opposite to that first mentioned, and the other end of the sheet is then fastened to the upper surface of the body above the water. The waterproof material is in the form of a roll 40 which is allowed to unroll as it is drawn beneath the structure by ropes 41. The floating body is described in Specification 744,985.
