[Also in Group VI] An ankle support for an orthopaedic boot comprises a hide sheet 7 sewn by vertical lines of stitching 9-12 to the lining 5 to form sleeves into which pneumatic tubes 13 of resilient material such as rubber or nylon are inserted. The tubes 13 preferably have bevelled ends and may be of any cross-section. If desired, the tubes may be formed in a complete series of tubes or hollow sections.
