A grid for a freezer tray comprises a plurality of longitudinal partitions 17, convergent downwardly, and a plurality of transverse walls 18 interconnected for relative movement. Each longitudinal wall comprises three members 21, 22 and 23, member 22 having a projection 36 fitting into recess 37 in member 21 for locking it against relative lengthwise movement. Slots 31 and notches 39 are made in members 21 and 23 respectively for the transverse walls 18. The arrangement of notches 39 is such that movement of member 23 relative to members 21, 22 causes the transverse walls to progressively tilt so that the ice blocks are progressively loosened. The ears 33 below extensions 27 of slots 26 form stops to locate the transverse walls parallel to one another in the normal inclined position. The inclined longitudinal walls and side lips 29 keep the blocks in the grid on its removal from the tray. Movement of member 23 is by the movement of lever 46, causing movement of links 43, which, by notches 42, cause movement of the end transverse wall and hence member 23. When folded, lever 46 fits into notches 52 in the transverse walls to lie flush to their tops.
