Abstract

Dyed or pigmented linear high polymer filaments, fibres, films, ribbons and like products are produced by mixing chips of the polymer, e.g. a linear polyamide, in which a dyestuff or pigment has been incorporated during polymerization with chips of the same polymer containing no dyestuff or pigment and spinning the mixture by the melt-spinning process.
