Abstract

735,650. Rectifying. MURPHY RADIO, Ltd. Nov. 5, 1953 [Nov. 5, 1952], No. 27867/52. Class 38 (2). [Also in Group XL (c)] A line scan circuit in which the E.H.T. due to interruptions of the scanning circuit are used, comprises a line output valve 1 to the first grid of which are supplied synchronizing signals, in the grid/cathode circuit of which is included an impedance 6, the impedance of which increases as the frequency decreases so that at the normal line frequency its impedance is low and the negative feedback is of small value but when the frequency falls due to the disappearance of the synchronizing signals thus increasing the impedance of the element 6 the value of the negative feedback increases thereby confining the value of the E.H.T. produced to safe limits.
