735,325. Door-operating apparatus. WILMOT-BREEDEN, Ltd. Nov. 23, 1953 [Nov. 25, 1952], No. 29754/52. Drawings to Specification. Class 65(1). In a system in which a door is actuated by the pressure of fluid supplied by a pump driven by a reversible electric motor, a switch is provided to set the motor in motion in the door-closing direction when the closed door is forcibly opened, to prevent, for example, unauthorized opening of a vehicle door. The control circuit described includes for each direction of movement of the door a solenoid, with holding circuit, manual and limit switches to initiate and terminate movement of the door, and a contact actuated by the other solenoid to prevent energization of both together ; an additional switch, in parallel with the manual switch for initiating closing, is open when the door is closed and is closed when the door is moved from the closed position to bring the mechanism into action in the closing direction if the opening movement was not produced by the mechanism.
