731,481. Cable clips. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES, Ltd. April 15, 1954 [April 16, 1953], No. 10479/53. Class 36. A cable clip 12 is insulated from a support by an insulating block 1 which has a stepped hole 6 extending therethrough, the step providing a seating for the head of a fixing screw 11. The clip 12 may be threaded through a slot provided in the block and positioned so that the clip is spaced from the head of the screw 11, or the clip may be moulded into the block so that parts of it project from opposite sides of the block. In the latter form the clip may be in one piece and have an aperture of larger diameter than the neighbouring part of the hole 6, or it may be in two parts which lie on opposite sides of the hole. A weatherproof plastic insulating component may be placed in the hole to cover the head of the screw. The latter may be screwed into a clamp of the construction set out in Specification 641,334.
