Abstract

727,853. Pelmets. HEWETT, J. R. March 1, 1954 [April 15, 1953], No. 10304/53. Class 52(5). A pelmet comprises facia boards 1 supported at their ends in grooves 4 provided in junction members 6 and in blocks 3 of end panels 2, the grooves being blind at one end and the groove in each block 3 being in a plane at right angles to the end panel. Attachment brackets 5, 7 are provided on the end panels and on the junction members 6. In a modification for bay windows hinged junction members are provided which comprise two blocks 10, each having a Single blind groove 4, hinged by being cemented, side by side, to a strip of cloth 11.
