Abstract

A container closure cap is moulded from a composition consisting of 100 parts of a polyvinyl chloride, 40 parts of di-nonyl phthalate, 40 parts of di-octyl phthalate and 4 parts of calcium stearate paste, the liquid composition being placed in a mould preheated to 100-350 DEG F. rotating about its axis to fling the composition in a thicker film on the walls of the mould than the bottom thereof.ALSO:A container closure cap is moulded from a liquid composition consisting of a polyvinyl chloride and plasticizers, which composition is fed into a mould preheated to 100-350 DEG F. rotated about its axis to fling the composition in a thicker film on the walls than the base of the mould, the rotating mould is transferred to an oven at a temperature of 250-300 DEG F. to set the composition, followed by further heating and then cooling to 100 DEG F., and the complete cap is ejected from the mould.
