722,978. Wind-motors. ALLGAIER WERKZEUGBAU GES. Dec. 3, 1952, No. 30631/52. Class 110 (3). A wind-power plant comprises an electric generator n driven by a vane wheel through suitable speed-raising transmission gearing f, g, h, i, k interposed therebetween and a centrifugal speed-governor o, p which is driven at a speed of revolution equal to that of the generator and has its fly-weights housed in a casing, e for the said gearing. The governor is mounted on the shaft k and acts, against the influence of a spring s, on a rotating nut q. The nut q is mounted to rotate on a control rod r having guide ribs t to which are attached rods u for altering the angle of the vane blades c. The motor may be stopped by hand through a rope x and a crank-lever w acting on the nut q. The casing e is at least partly filled with oil.
