Abstract
722,007. Nets. SCHORR, R. T., [trading as TECHNISCHE HANDELSONDERNEMING FIRMA ALMETA]. June 1, 1951 [Jan. 18, 1951], No. 13060/51. Class 74 (1). [Also in Groups XXII and XXV] Mesh-forming connections, cable junctions (see also Group XXV), and hoisting loops in a sling net, are produced by threading the wires or cables through metal sleeve members 6, 5, 13, 4, and securing them therein by indentation which may be produced by a screw punch (see Group XXII). The meshes may be formed by passing the wires through cruciform sleeves 6, in which the bores are preferably at different levels, or by causing the wires to follow sinuous paths, connecting them to one another and to the marginal wire 1 by the members 4, each of which has two parallel bores. The indentations are so formed that parts of the sleeve walls are pressed between the cable strands.
