Class 78 (1) A hopper 1 pivoted to a machine (e.g. concrete mixer) subject to vibration in normal operation has walls 2, 3, 4 which are made of a rubber composition. The rubber hopper 1 is supported on a metal frame 5 pivoted on trunnions 6. The hopper walls may be strengthened by rubberized textile cord or fabric and may be dished or ribbed for strength, the vibration of the rubber facilitating discharge.
