Class 122(1) [Also in Group XXVIII] A double ended piston unit comprises hollow end members 23 connected by four arcuate bars 53 forming slots 24, 25 in which rotates an actuating cam 14 which engages bearing strips 33 provided on bridge pieces 31 joining opposite sides of the piston skirts. The piston unit is die-cast in aluminium or aluminium alloy.
