[Also in Group XV] A date indicator wherein a base member has apertures with which data on one or more rotatable discs can be brought into register comprises overlapping rotatable discs 13, 14, 15 located between upper and lower plane members 10, 11 each disc bearing data adapted selectively to be brought into register with adjacent apertures 16, 17, 18 in the upper member 10, and a scanning prism 22 located over the apertures whereby the image of the data viewed through the prism is at an angle to the base. The base members 10, 11 and discs 13, 14, 15 are of plastic material, the discs having central holes fitting freely over central bosses 12 formed in shallow recesses in the lower member 11. Day names, month names and dates, with letters and numbers reversed are suitably arranged so as to appear correctly and disposed at an angle to the base when registered with the apertures 16, 17, 18 and viewed through the prism 22, which is of transparent plastic. To facilitate manipulation of the discs they may overlap the edges of the base members 10, 11 or the latter may be formed with edge recesses. The base may be provided with brackets 23 with recesses 24 to form a pen holder.
