653,079. Perpetual calendars. ROWE, H. J. April 28, 1948, No. 11583. [Class 106 (iv)] A perpetual calendar comprises a bar marked with month names and dates placed inside a sheath c marked with day names repeated along an edge of a slot, the bar being rotatable within the sheath to expose the calendar for any month after being longitudinally adjusted to set the calendar for any year. The bar is formed with seven circumferential grooves b cut by one longitudinal one in which a pin a on the sheath moves. The indications may be pressed or stamped or printed on paper and stuck to their respective parts. The sheath may be transparent and the slot dispensed with. To save space the units only may be marked, different colours being used for tens, twenties and thirties. The calendar may be combined with any suitable article.
