Class 19 A washing or cleaning device comprises a sheet or sheets of leather and a sheet or sheets of linen, cotton, wool or like fabric connected together in book form in such a manner as to provide leather squeegee and at least one flap of leather and one of fabric adapted to be rolled about their zone of interconnection with either sheet outermost. In Fig. 1, a sheet of leather a and a sheet b of several thicknesses of fabric are folded and stitched or otherwise fixed together as shown. The sheets then be folded to form a fabric pad b (Fig. 2), a leather pad a (Fig. 4), or a squeegee a (Fig. 3). A pole may be inserted within the leather a loop f and which may be formed the outer layer of the book and which constitutes the squeegee (Fig. 6, not shown). The squeegee portion and the holder for the pole may alternatively be formed from a leather tube inserted between the inner pages where they are connected together (Fig. 7, not shown).
