Class 79(4) [Also in Group XXXII] In a vehicle axle unit comprising elastically and pivotally mounted vertical, or substantially vertical supports 1, for road wheel suspension links 4, 4. and for spring abutments 5, 5 for road wheels 3, 3, the elastic mountings are disposed at the upper and lower extremities of the supports. In the arrangements shown, the upper and lower extremities of each support 1, are secured in rubber rings 2, supported in sockets in upper and lower cross members of the vehicle body or superstructure.
