Abstract

704,482. Electrotherapy appliances. STRONG, C. L. Sept. 9, 1952 [Oct. 15, 1951], No. 23938/51. Class 81(2) An electrode system for the treatment of horses comprises two metal electrodes 13, intended to lie on each side of the spine, supported on a leather strap 10 provided with a girth strap 11a for securing to the animal's body. To assist in achieving a good contact with the body, each plate 13 is supported on the leather 10 by two studs lying on a line 17 to one side of the centre line of the plate and is held away from the leather by spacers 16, the one nearer the neck being longer than the other. The two plates are electrically connected together and to a plug 15.
