Abstract

Vitamin compositions which are handled cleanly and are stable to atmospheric oxidation over long periods are made by absorbing an oil or concentrate containing one or both of the vitamins A and D on ground or otherwise finely-divided maize. The oil or concentrate may be mixed with sufficient ground maize to absorb it and the mixture then mixed with additional ground maize.ALSO:Vitamin compositions which are handled cleanly and are stable to atmospheric oxidation over long periods are made by absorbing an oil or concentrate containing one or both of the vitamins A and D on ground or otherwise finely-divided maize. The oil or concentrate may be mixed with sufficient ground maize to absorb it and the mixture then mixed with additional ground maize.
