[Also in Group XXXIII] Drilling.-A method of assembling a complex structure of sheet material, such as an aircraft wing, comprises employing a jig-template, bring- ing the component parts of the skin of the structure to their finished shape, mounting and retaining each part in the jig-template, locating structural members, such as ribs, against the skin and drilling and riveting the skin components and associated structural members together while they are still located against the jig-template. The subject-matter described is substantially the same as that of Specification 703,305. Specification 703,239 also is referred to.
