Abstract

1512169 Toy aeroplanes and toy gliders H NEUHIERL 5 May 1976 [6 May 1975 18 March 1976] 18498/76 Heading A6S To allow the removal of one pair of wings 2 from the fuselage 1 of a toy aeroplane or toy glider and its replacement by another pair of wings of different size, aerodynamic characteristics, &c., a separate pair of wing root members 11 are associated with each pair of wings, the wing root members of each pair having outer edges 19 corresponding in shape to the shape of the inner edges of the wings by which they are to be abutted. The wing root members 11 may be made of plastics, &c. or consist of a skin stretched over a frame. The wing root members 11 all have inner edges 18 of the same shape, so that they all fit to the same area on the fuselage 1. The wings 2 are secured by a screwed fastening device 4 (not further described). One pair of wings 2 may be provided dimensioned to attach directly to the fuselage 2 without the interposition of wing root members 11.
