Class 81(2) An appliance, primarily for viewing the sexual organs of birds, comprises a transparent tube, illuminated by reflection, and provided with a viewing lens. Light from a lamp in socket 20 is reflected by a semitransparent plate 4 into a transparent tube 1, which is inserted in the bird's rectum. The distension of the rectum causes the walls thereof to become transparent so that the sexual organs can be viewed through the tube 1, the eye being placed adjacent to the adjustable eyepiece 27 and looking through a magnifier 31.
