702,077. Fluid actuation of switches. DENNIS, K. J., and QUICK, J. A. June 26, 1952 [June 16, 1951], No. 15139/51. Class 38(5) A pressure-responsive switching device comprises a mioroswitch which is operated by the free end of a Bourdon tube 11. The device may have a microswitch 15 with an operating button 19 engaged by a lug 18 carried by the free end of the tube 11 when the pressure rises. In addition to, or as an alternative to, the microswitch 15, a microswitch 16 may be provided, its operating button 20 being engaged by the lug 18 when the pressure falls. The or each switch position is adjustable to provide a desired operative pressure by rotation of plate switch-mounts 21, the screws 24 locking the plates 21 at the desired position.
