Abstract

701,890. Actuation of switches. LORENZETTI, L. June 25, 1952 [July 2, 1951], No. 16014/52. Class 38(5) [Also in Group XI] An electric water heater (see Group XI) has two pairs of co-operating contacts 34, 26, and 35, 27 which are opened and closed by the position of a diaphragm 13 in the heater as determined by water pressure in a chamber 15 above the diaphragm 13, and a return spring 40. To the centre of the diaphragm 13 is secured a rod 16, 24 which carries the supply contacts 34, 35. Contacts 26, 27 are connected to the heating element 30 in the chamber 15.
