Abstract

699,589. Mincers. CRYPTO, Ltd., and WILSON, E. P. Sept. 16, 1952 [Nov. 2, 1951], No. 25696/51. Class 28 (ii). Cleaning of a mincer G and its motor A and gearbox B is facilitated by making flat the upper half C of the motor- and-gear cover to support the feed pan F which can be easily removed by slightly raising its mincer end so that its depending skirt I clears the motor cover K and then sliding it endwise to disengage its hook part L from a slot M in the upper part C<SP>1</SP> of the half cover C. The upper cover C of the motor &c. can then be removed by unscrewing a thumb screw N located in a depression C<SP>2</SP> in C<SP>1</SP>. The feed pan rests at its motor end on adjustable studs H in the upper cover C, which is positioned on the lower half cover D by diagonal dowels E.
