Class 100(i) In a device 15, 28 for jogging the printed sheets on the delivery table of sheet printing machines, the rear jogger 28 is reciprocated through toothed racks 25 by means of gear wheels 19 releasably connected to a driving shaft 18 which is part rotated in opposite directions alternately. Release of the wheels from the shaft (e.g. by unscrewing from the shaft a nut 21, which otherwise clamps two gear wheels 19, a spacing tube 20 and a bushing 24 between itself and a bushing 24a) enables the position of the racks 25 and the jogger 28 relative to the shaft to be changed to accommodate any sheet size. By means of coupling members 29, a hand wheel 23 on the bushing 24 is used to turn the wheels 19 and so adjust the position of the jogger and its racks which travel in guides 26 in the machine frame. The device is driven by a gear wheel 2, Fig. 2 on the shaft of end wheels of a delivery chain, which wheel drives with speed reduction a gear wheel 3 with an eccentric bushing 4. A lever 6, mounted by a roller bearing 5 on the bushing 4, is thus reciprocated together with a connecting rod 16 which oscillates a lever 17 secured to the shaft 18. Lateral joggers 15 are mounted on adjustable rods 13 each of which is clamped at 14 in a slotted portion of a sleeve 12 having teeth meshing with a gear segment on one arm 11 of a bell-crank lever 10, 11 pivoted on a fixed shaft 9. By means of a ball joint 8, a rod 7 transmits the reciprocation of the oscillating lever 6 to the bellcrank lever and thus to the jogger 15.
