[Also in Group XXVI] Corrugating.-A corrugation 22 around an aperture in a cylinder head gasket 17 of steel, or phosphor-bronze or aluminium bronze alloy, is formed by forcing the material by a punch 21 into a groove 19 of a die 18. The corrugation 22 does not bottom in the groove 19 whose upper edges 20 are rounded.
