Abstract

A memorial for a deceased person comprises an article made from a composition comprising the ashes resulting from cremation, and a binder such as plaster, cement, glass or a synthetic resin, alternatively the ashes may be applied to the surface of a composition so as to adhere thereto or be embedded therein. A transparent binder may be used to enable the ashes to remain visible. The memorial may be in the form of a tablet or plaque or a piece of personal jewellery.
