Class 33 [Also in Group XXVIII] A waste or soil pipe fitting, having a vertical tubular portion with spigot - and socket connections at both ends for joining the fitting to the upper and lower portions of a waste or soil pipe, has at least two integral branch sockets, set one above the other, between its ends with the upward angular set of the axes of the branch sockets and their relative disposition so arranged as to give the required fall or gradient when the upper branch socket is connected to a wash-basin or sink and the lower branch socket is adjacent floor level and connected to a bath or w.c. pan. In one form, Fig. 2, the tubular portion 10 with spigot-and-socket connections 11, 12 at its ends has an integral branch socket 13 for connection to a bath or w.c. pan and a pair of integral branch sockets 15, 16, formed in a single boss 14 for connection to a wash-basin or sink. In another form, Fig. 6, the sockets 15, 16, are on opposite sides of the tubular portion and the socket 13 has a slight angular displacement from the 90-degree position. A cleaning opening 17 is fitted for the upper sockets. A form similar to that shown in Fig. 2, but with the socket 13 at an obtuse angle to the sockets 15, 16, is also described and illustrated.
