692,011. Bulb sowing machines. BEEM STERBOER, S. Dec. 4, 1951 [Jan. 22, 1951]. No. 28419/51. Class 6(i) A bulb sowing machine comprises a rotary disc 20 by means of which bulbs are delivered from an' adjustably positioned hopper to discharge passages 16, 17 through apertures 15 provided in a stationary floor 10 the rotary disc being connected with a ring 26 forming an annular channel 50 above which is provided an annular resilient ring 41 supported by an adjustably positioned ring 40, the ring 41 being resiliently pressed inwards at a position above each aperture by spring-urged presser wheels 47 so as to cover the channel and hold adjacent bulbs in check in such a way that only one bulb at a time is allowed to fall through each aperture. Deflectors 36 are carried by arms 35 to guide the bulbs and the disc 20 is provided with a rubber ring 25 and iron ribs 22 supporting a rubber covering 21.
