Abstract
A molybdenum casing forming part of an electron discharge tube cathode is pickled in a bath of three parts 70 per cent sulphuric acid, one part concentrated nitric and one part water, followed by rinsing, drying, and annealing in hyrodgen at 1100 DEG C.
