Class 21 A collapsable cask comprises wall sections formed of groups of staves joined by wires 8 passing through holes in them. The sections are clamped on to heads by straps 2 bent round links 5. The straps may each include a separate short section which is deformed in joining it to the link and is replaceable. The heads may be of boards joined by battens 4 or may be of plyboard &c. and dished. The straps may pass through staples carried by the staves.
