689,198. Portable factories. LEER, B. VAN. July 17, 1950 [May 2, 1950], No. 17806/50. Class 108 (i). A mobile factory comprises a number of vehicles B, C carrying various machines for making drums in association with an electric power generator vehicle A. Beams 27 slidably engaged in brackets 31 secured to vehicles C form the supports for a floor 26 when they are engaged with brackets 29 on the adjacent vehicle B. The sides of the vehicles may also be hinged downwardly to form a platform on the outside of the vehicles. Jacks may be used to support the undersides of the floor and a roof of tarpaulin supported on removable roof trusses may also be provided.
