Abstract
689,089. Automatic temperature control systems. METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. Sept. 10, 1951 [Oct. 6, 1950], No. 21296/51. Class 38 (iv). A temperature-sensitive capacitor 4 (barium titanate, strontium titanate, barium and lead zirconate dielectric) is responsive to the temperature of an electric heater 2 supplied through a thyratron 3, the condenser forming part of a phase-shifting circuit controlling the grid voltage of the thyratron so as to maintain the temperature of the heater substantially constant.
