Abstract

686,578. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Feb. 8, 1951, No. 3100/51. Class 39(i) An electrode assembly has two separate cathodes 1 and 2 enclosing between them a common heater. The edges 7 and 8 of the cathodes are turned over through a reflex angle, to make more efficient use of the heater. They are supported in slots in mica spacers 3, 4, the spacers having lugs, as at 9, extending between the cathodes. The anodes may be common, or separate. Specification 686,577 is referred to.
